Exercise Physiology

Exercise is the treatment. Individualised, progressive exercise prescription for pain, injury and chronic disease — built on assessment, not assumption.

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist treats through exercise — progressive, individualised and outcome-tracked — rather than passive modalities alone. Every program starts with an assessment of what you can currently do, and is built forward from there.

What we treat

Conditions and goals

Osteoarthritis

Progressive loading and movement strategies to manage pain and maintain function.

Low back pain

Exercise-based rehabilitation grounded in current evidence, not bed rest.

Shoulder conditions

Staged strength and mobility programming for rotator cuff and shoulder pathology.

Tendon rehabilitation

Load-management protocols for tendinopathy, built around graded return to activity.

Return to running

Structured progression back to running after injury. See Running + Endurance.

Chronic disease management

Exercise prescription for cardiovascular, metabolic and other chronic conditions.

Strength & conditioning

General strength programming for health, function and performance.

Musculoskeletal rehabilitation

Full pathway detail on the dedicated page.

How a program works

Measure → Understand → Intervene → Track

01

Assess

A baseline of movement, strength and symptoms — what you can do today.

02

Interpret

Your assessment explained against your goals and history, not handed over as a checklist.

03

Program

A progressive, individualised plan — adjusted as you respond to it.

04

Reassess

Function and strength measured again, so progress is a number, not a guess.
